Some examples: \- work tasks: I have a kanban board of tasks to do, tasks doing, and finished. For "doing" tasks, if I have to stop in the middle, I write all details down of what's left otherwise I would forget. I tend to check in with the list even during working because sometimes I get distracted and I need to refocus on my mission. \- administrative: I have a separate todo list for my personal tasks on my phone. I look at the widget and see what my top task is (and every day I make sure the prioritization is right) and I continue to look at it every few minutes or hours to refocus. I made it a habit to make myself not think, and do the thing staring back at me, and not worry about the million other things I need to do. A lot of my issues stem from my brain getting flooded with the million other things I need to do. So I made external systems that I trust tells me what to do now and I don't let myself think about other things (when I can stop it anyway).
