Every Windows/Linux dev discovers the “oh right Apple owns iOS” plot twist eventually 😭 If you seriously want to build and ship iOS apps long term, then yeah, eventually a Mac becomes less of a luxury and more of a tax. Doesn’t need to be some maxed-out spaceship though. Even a decent used Mac Mini can go surprisingly far for iOS dev. I’d avoid panic-buying one immediately unless you’re committed though. Maybe finish validating the app idea first, because buying Apple hardware for an abandoned side project is a canon event at this point.
