I am still actively trying to fix this, but something that has had an unexpected positive effect (when I remember to do it lol) is cutting off my eating by 7pm latest (probably better to do earlier/adjust based on wake up time). I usually work until 8pm so got into a habit of eating late like 9-10pm. But when I’m able to stop by or before 7, it feels like my body actually wants to wake up and the mental fog is way better. It helps to have easy to make high protein foods ready to go for breakfast too.

If you take meds, take them when your first alarm goes off or set it 30\*min earlier and take them. Or, one thing that I used for years and swear by is a Pavlock Shock Clock watch. It’s literally a bracelet that tases you haha. I only used it for those mornings I knew my alter ego would hit snooze and turn my alarms off without letting me know, but It was honestly worth every penny and wakes you up instantly. It absolutely sucks if you need to use higher voltage shock/s but it’s an instant grogginess stage skip. It’s like a daily instant line of blow that stings just the same and makes you want to hit something just as much, but you’ll stay employed and your friends won’t have to plan an intervention. If all else fails, it’s worth a try. Pretty sure it’s free returns/trial period too. (Not an ad) However, I wore mine out a few years ago and never got a new one, so now my failsafe is the Alarmy app with the QR/barcode mission. I have to scan the QR code on my old Ender 3 3d printer in the other room in order to snooze/silence my alarm. It works pretty well for me. To each their own, though. Good luck!
